I had an overall enjoyable stay with several amenities and thoughtful touches that stood out. I was pleasantly surprised to find a clothes steamer in the room, which isn’t something I commonly see when traveling. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially Jay The valet, who was helpful and even shared a little history about the neighboring property. I also enjoyed the hot tub, separate shower and tub, and the gym, which had free weights, a few machines, treadmills, and a bike. The room appeared remodeled, and I loved that the flooring wasn’t carpeted. I didn’t try the food or beverages, but in-room dining was available. On the downside, I noticed some stains on the walls, areas under the furniture that could have been cleaned more thoroughly, and the elevator doors were noticeably dirty and in need of cleaning. My biggest annoyance was a barking dog across the hallway, and hallway noise was also noticeable. My room faced the parking lot, but the nearby shopping and chain restaurants made the location very convenient. Overall, a solid 4-star stay.

I stayed here to celebrate an anniversary weekend and hardly even know where to begin, but I'll try. Please do not stay here. I have no idea how this is considered a 4-Star hotel because it pales in comparison even to every Motel 6 and Red Roof Inn I've stayed at, yet costs 4 times as much. I will never visit another Marriott property. Please do not stay here. Please. I'm not one to leave negative reviews, but I have nothing good to say about my experience here and future travelers deserve to know. Details: Not a single door would close normally and without a shove, including the main room door. No drawers. Hardly anywhere to store things except on the floor, which was dirty and sticky. Poor temperature controls in the shower. Air vents full of dust. Didn't get the room we booked (paid for king, got a queen). TV was strangely blue and dark and had no settings available to change the brightness or color. TV remote and room thermostat almost non functional. Bedside light fixtures didn't work. There was a window in the bathroom door. Just... why????? Bathroom exhaust fans didn't work. Describing the walls as paper thin would be being overly generous. At one point, the guy

We had a great stay at the Westin in Huntsville! The staff was very attentive and amazing! The rooms were very clean and if you’re needing a great bed to sleep on, this is your hotel! I loved all the amenities, the pool was very nice as was the outdoor space. The weight room had everything you needed and more. We will definitely be staying again when we are in the area. This was a great location as you could walk right to the shopping center and many restaurants to choose from.
